Job Description

* Candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in leading product development teams.
* Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration from definition phase through implementation.
* Reviews work of development team.
* Creates and executes development plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
* Owns the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout the project.
* Communicates and enforces coding standards and performs code reviews and the mentor developers.
* Gives the significant knowledge of client/server and Internet systems architectures and make other understands the browser / client specific compatibility issues.
* Holds regular status meetings with development team and resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
* Review and signoff the design documents
* Manages the development of team by ensuring that project tasks are in line
* Conducts effective performance evaluations and mentors developers and senior developers through formal and informal channels
* Performed size/effort estimation, resources planning, resource allocation, utilization, team building, motivation and work schedule
* Responsible for creating and presenting the progress and status reports to the client and the senior management
* Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
* Review the daily timesheet and the WBS.
* Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
